Jalon Timmons, 6’5″, 200, Forward, Freshman

Jalon-Tinnin2_thumb.jpgA Lancaster High School graduate in 2016,  Jalon Tinnin says he is ready for the year.    Tinnin joined Antelope Valley College last year and went to work hard academically, on the track, weight room, and on the floor.  It was a hard decision, but he and the coaches both agreed a red-shirt year would give him experience, strength, improve his shooting, and the intensity he would need to make it to the next level.
This is the year that Jalon can start showing the world that he is quicker, a stronger rebounding, shoots better and tougher.  He is expected to be one of the players that has a chance to have a break out year  Think rebounds.  A great place to start.
In two weeks we will see Jalon in his first college basketball game at the Summer Shootout.

Jalon Timmin played in all four Summer shootout games.  Worked hard on this defense and rebounding and got a feeling how much he is expected to improve to get more time on the floor.  He is a talented player.
