Tim Gilmore 6’3″, 190, Shooting Guard Picks Up Scholarship

Posted: January 22, 2018 in AVC Men's Basketball

Tim Gilmore, 6’3″ 190 shooting guard graduated with honors from Antelope Valley College in 2015  and was given a full-ride scholarship to D-2 Texas International University.  Before the season began, Tim unfortunately fractured his foot in practice and was out for the season.

The next summer as Gilmore was preparing to return to his scholarship at Texas International, he fractured his foot again.  Most players would have thrown in the towel on basketball but not Tim who instead enrolled in college classes and went to work until his physician said that he was back to 100% and ready for college basketball.

Tim was being pursued by three NAIA teams and has chosen Trinity International University just outside of Chicago.    With nearly 100 faculty and 3,000 students, Trinity International University is committed to the same vision with which they were founded in 1897 including a competitive basketball team.
