Rumors, Rumors, Basketball – Part 1

I love summer shootouts and Vegas Showcases.  Not only for the basketball that is played but for all of the rumors that are spread around.

Definition of Rumor:  a currently circulating story or report of uncertain or doubtful truth.

But, It turns out that rumors — or, more precisely, those rumors that continue to be passed along grapevines — tend to be substantially true. This is the conclusion reached by Nicholas DiFonzo and Prashant Bordia, professors at the Rochester Institute of Technology.  Take all this information you see below and you decide whether what you read is true or not.

All  fans have noticed an increase of Cal JUCO teams adding foreign players to their rosters.  Without a doubt, these talented players have added some real strength to a number of colleges teams.  Now here is the rumor:  One of our elite teams has decided to jump on the foreign bandwagon.  Rumor is the head coach is looking for talent who will play his style of basketball which has dominated a certain conference for years but now is facing some young guns with talent with different styles. Hmmm.  We will see.  If true, he has been hiding things pretty good.  LOL

Will this foreign trend…if its true…continue to grow?
