D’Mauria Jones, Named to All-Star Team of Las Vegas Elite 80 JUCO Invitational

Posted: July 30, 2017 in AVC Men's Basketball

Dee did it all in the three games he played in  the Showcase;  defense, rebounding, assists, leadership, teamwork and scoring.  That was not missed by the huge crowd D-1 coaches.  With 80 of the best JUCO players in the nation showing their stuff, it was truly a honor to be chosen as one of the top 20 players in this showcase.  Congratulations to Dee, his family  and to the Antelope Valley College Basketball Coaches who have done an exceptional job in improving D’Mauria in his academics, his leadership and his teamwork skill.  He was always one of the most physically exceptional basketball players in SoCal but now with his new skill sets he has added the rest of the things that D-1 coaches demand.

Dee is going to be surrounded by some exceptional basketball players this year at AVC and if he shows his leadership skills along with his basketball skills, this team could go a long way.   I am really getting excited for the season to begin.
