2016-17 Team2There isn’t a player on the Antelope Valley College team that doesn’t need some therapy, ice treatments, lots of stretching and an extra day off but, this is where you as a college basketball player, must grind it out.  Wins in the conference now are key to how many home games you get at home in the playoff seeding.  These conference games are especially important to AVC who start out with a 1-4 record.  Those loss never go away…except maybe for the two teams who AVC played the second time and beat them…Ventura and Riverside.

AVC has started out well in the conference with two wins;  Barstow on the road and a home game against LA Valley.  On Saturday AV takes on another road game against Victor Valley.
