AVC “Sophomore Grey-Beard Guards”….Heart and Soul of Team

Few experienced college coaches would disagree that to win it all you need talented and experienced guards.  AVC has four experienced sophomore guards that extrude their talent and leadership when they take the floor.

Charles “Scooter” Hall, 6’2”, 190, Sophomore

Charles Hall Summer

Leadership, great shooter, pass first point guard, averaged 12.8 ppg and 5 apg last year.  Great size for point guard at the next level.

Reggie Byers, 5’9”, 180, Sophomore

A game changer.  Rocket fast, pass first point guard, great floor vision, tenacious defense and leadership.

Cory Dollarhide, 5’11”, 180, Sophomore

AVC’s top long ranger shooter in a decade(45%).  Led AVC last year in scoring and shot 97% from the free throw line.  Looks to be the captain of this years team.  Outstanding academics and solid defender.

Keshaun Mack, 6’4”, 200

Keshaun Mack...shooter

Most athletic player AVC has had for some time. Since Key arrived at AVC he has added to this athleticism; defense. mid-range shooting and ended up shooting 39% from beyond the arc.  He has come a long way and he looks ready to have a big year and then head off to the next level.

UPDATE!  It was just announced that Keshaun Mack is academically ineligible for the 2016-17 season.  It is going to be a key year for Key to get his academics back in shape. Disappointing.
