After fifteen years as head coach at Modesto Junior College, Paul Brogan has stepped down as head coach for the Pirates. Brogan led the Pirates to a 205-234 record in 15 seasons as head coach. Brogan led the Pirates to four post seasons appearances and finished tied for third place in 2005 as that was their highest finish in the Big 8 Conference during his tenure. Modesto won 22 games in 2007 which was Brogan’s best season as head coach and in 2006, Brogan led the Pirates to 20 wins. Brogan helped move on 48 players in his tenure and even more impressive the past two seasons the Pirates have had over a 3.0 GPA in the classroom. Modesto will began to search for a new head coach in the near future after 15 seasons.
