AVC 6 wins 0 losses

85.3 points per game(7th in State)

3 point shooting, 43.4%(9th in State)

Assists per game, 19.3(2nd in State)

Opponents Shooting 3 balls against AVC…(25% 7th in State)

Rebounding…36.3 per game(42nd in State)(-5.3 per game)

Before the season started, AVC was not expecting to start only guards and wings.  AVC’s post players are injured or not ready to play.  The coaching staff had to scramble to put together a completely different style of basketball to be successful.  The AVC size deficient shows itself in the rebounding where their opponent is pulling down 5.3 more rebounds per game.

The main way AVC is winning all of its games is team play; 2nd in state in assists, great shooting, balanced scoring, outstanding passing and intense defense.

AVC is working very hard on gang rebounding and increasing their defense even more.

With 11 days till AVC kicks off the toughest 8 team pre-conference tournament at home, it has time to be ready for a shot a winning its own tournament.   This tournament will be a bell weather for all eight teams in the tournament.
