John Washington

John graduated in 2010 from La Joya HS, Avondale, AZ. At 6’7”, 195, he is extremely athletic and runs the floor well. He led the the state of Arizona in blocked
shots per game in high school in his senior year and is a real leaper.
Washington put out the following statistics at La Joya High School.
PPG= 12.4, BPG=4.9, RPG=9.4, SPG=1.4, 223 points
He had to take last year off from basketball as he had had to rehab an ankle that had a tendinitis and now is 100% physically. Washington says he brings an unselfish and positive attitude to the team and knows that he has to improve in getting stronger in the weight room, improve his ball handling, work on outside shooting and learn the skills(footwork) around the basket.
