The Coaches poll has been very changeable this year. Some would say as changeable as the team’s performance this year.
AVC lost to San Bernardino Valley by 4 points at home and won on the road by 3 against Mt. San Jacinto. The JUCO coaches were obviously not satisfied with AVC’s effort this week and they dropped them from 4th in the state to 13th.
Seven conference games left guys. Desert on the road Saturday night. Ready gentlemen?

Can someone please tell me why is it that Santa Rosa lost to an unranked team at the time (San Joanquin Delta) but only dropped 2 slots but Antelope Valley lost to an unranked team at that time (San Bernardino) but dropped 9 slots? Something isn’t right.
Ahhhhh. I don’t know. Especially with the way SBV is currently playing. Could be also on which coaches voted. Bottom line AVC will need to concentrate on every game from now on if they want make the final 4 again.
